At this point, it’s getting difficult for smartphone makers to come up with a new or unique design which is visible in the design of the Oppo F3 Plus. It comes with the common recipe of metal finish and unibody construction. That’s definitely not a bad design as it looks premium but not a lot has changed compared to the other phones in the Oppo F series. This phone comes with a 6.0-inch screen showing 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 367ppi of pixel density. It’s quite thin at 7.4mm and weighs about 185g. This display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. However, the operating system is an old one, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a touch of ColorOS 3.0. This phone is available in two different colors: Pink and Gold.
To make sure users get to take a group selfie without cutting anyone out, there are two cameras on the front: one 8-megapixel 120-degree wide angle camera for group selfie and one 16 megapixel camera for a solo shot. The Beautify 4.0 can ensure you can upload those selfies right away without much editing. It’s not just the selfie camera that’s good, the rear camera is a 16-megapixel one that comes with Sony IMX398 sensor and 1/2.8 inch sensor which is customized and developed for Oppo phones. However, there is no LED flash with the front facing camera. For those of you who are interested in buying a camera focused phone, there is also the Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 7 Plus and Google Pixel you can check out. These are more expensive compared to the Oppo F3 Plus Dubai price but are currently popular for it’s great camera.
Other than the front camera, another thing that stands out in the Oppo F3 Plus is it’s big 4000mAh battery. Moreover, it comes with VOOC Flash Charge which can give users two hours of talking time after just a five minutes charge. There is no NFC and the micro USB connector is slightly older than the other phones. Some of the other notable features are: Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage, microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.1 and fingerprint sensor. There is the Asus Zenfone Max 2016 and Lenovo Vibe p1 if you are not interested in spending too much money and want just a phone with good battery.
The Oppo F3 Plus is already available and costs around AED 1800 at the moment.
