While both the old Samsung Galaxy J7 and the Galaxy J7 2016 version packs a Super AMOLED display, this one is packing TFT display which is slightly disappointing for a Samsung phone. However, it’s a good looking phone with some slight changes compared to its predecessors. This 5.5-inch screen 2.5D glass display showing 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 269ppi of pixel density is not protected by Gorilla Glass. There is no change in screen size or resolution but it is running the latest Android 7.0 operating system which means users won’t have to wait for an upgrade.
To make sure users get to capture clear and bright pictures, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the back with large aperture. There is also a 5-megapixel selfie camera if you mostly take selfies and won’t be using the rear camera much. It’s definitely not the phone to look for if you want a good camera focused phone but it will get the job done. There is the Motorola Moto G4 Plus and Asus Zenfone 2 Laser if you want a good camera phone without spending too much money. Do note that these are slightly more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy J7 V Dubai price.
One of the best features of the Samsung Galaxy J7 V is definitely its big 3300mAh battery. According to Samsung, the battery will last up to 40 hours depending on the usage. It’s definitely a great feature to have if you often worry about running out of battery. There is a power saving mode to make sure you get to extend the battery life if you are not near your charger and want to get through the day. Inside the phone, it’s packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It’s clocked at 2.2GHz and should be good enough for performing basic tasks. The built-in storage might be a problem for some users: 16GB but using the microSD card slot, it can be expanded to up to 256GB. There is the Asus Zenfone Max 2016 with a big 5000mAh if you don’t want to wait for the Samsung Galaxy J7 V release date UAE.
As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy J7 V is an entry-level phone and it’s one of the best part of this phone as well. Its will cost around 900 AED or SAR (~1800 EGP) when it’s here. It’s already available in some places but its international release is expected in the second quarter of 2017.
