HTC Desire 830, the successor to the HTC Desire 820 is officially here after making some rounds online as leaks and rumors. While it’s still not available internationally, we do know what to expect as the phone has been officially announced in Taiwan. As we already know, the HTC Desire 820 was a mid-range phone with a good balance between specs and price and we have the same expectations from the upcoming HTC Desire 830. Let’s see if the phone managed to keep up with our expectations or not including the HTC Desire 830 Dubai price.
For those who are familiar with the screen size of the HTC Desire 820, it’s the same size in the HTC Desire 830. However, it will be showing full HD instead of 720p resolution and 401 ppi of pixel density. The phone is quite thin at 7.8mm and looks quite different compared to its predecessor. The back side still remains the same but the front speakers are not visible this time. The phone will be running the latest Android OS v6.0 Marshmallow when it’s here. You can also think about checking out the Asus Zenfone 2 or OnePlus Two which are available in almost the same price range as the HTC Desire 830 Dubai price.
While most of the phones are moving towards 16-megapixel cameras, the HTC Desire 830 is still offering a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 4-megapixel featuring ultrapixel on the front which is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. The best thing about this phone is its speakers like its predecessors. Users get BoomSound speakers which is still one of the best you can get in a mid-range phone. There are two colors to look out for if you are interested to wait for the HTC Desire 830 release date UAE, white/blue and white/red. If it’s a good camera phone you want, there is the Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6S Plus.
There are some improvements here, the HTC Desire 830 packs an octa-core processor, Mediatek MT6753 paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB memory. You have the option to expand if 32GB is not enough for you using the microSD card slot. The battery is a decent 2800mAh Li-Ion one but it’s not removable. Most of the phones from HTC are not really certified for water and dust resistance so that’s something to look out for if you often take your phone to places with water or too much dust. There is the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua you can check out which is a good, mid-range, IP68 certified phone.
The HTC Desire 830 is expected to cost about AED 1400 when it’s here. The phone has been officially announced in Taiwan already so the HTC Desire 830 release date UAE should be sometimes in June, 2016.
