This year, Motorola has unveiled not one but two different Motorola Moto X smartphones. The Motorola Moto X Play is one of these smartphones which is less pricey and falls in between the Moto G 3rd generation and the Motorola Moto X Style. To learn more about the Motorola Moto X Play Dubai price and specs, continue reading.
While the Moto X Play doesn’t offer a big jump in screen size like the Moto X Style, it does offer a slightly bigger screen which is 5.5-inch in size showing 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 403ppi of pixel density. The phone is IP52 certified which makes it water resistant while the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It’s 10.9mm thin and will be running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop right out of the box. If you want something more affordable or don’t want to wait for the Motorola Moto X Play release date UAE, there is the Asus Zenfone 2 or HTC Desire 816 that you can check out.
One of the major difference between the Moto X Play and the Moto X Style is its processor. While the Moto X Style packs a powerful and latest processor, the Moto X Play offers a mid-range like Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. However, it’s good enough to give you a smooth Android experience as well. There are two different storage options to choose from: 16GB and 32GB and it also includes microSD card slot with support to up to 128GB. Some of the competitors of this smartphone at the moment are the OnePlus Two and Xiaomi Redmi Note which are already available so you don’t have to wait for the Motorola Moto X Play release date UAE.
Just like the Motorola Moto X Style, the Moto X Play packs a 21-megapixel rear camera along with dual color temperature flash. However, it’s not the same camera and the aperture not big like the X Style. The selfie camera is a 5-megapixel one and there is no flash included with this one. However, one of the best feature of the smartphone that tops the Moto X Style is its monster battery which is a 3630mAh one. It’s about 21% bigger than the Moto X Style. For those who are looking for a smartphone with even bigger battery can check out the Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro. All the important connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and LTE are present as well.
As usual, Motorola offers their latest Motorola smartphone at a pocket-friendly price tag. The smartphone will be available for about AED 1100 or SAR (~2200EGP). The Motorola Moto X Play release date UAE has not been specifically announced yet but it will be here sometimes in August or September, 2015.
