Moto Z Play, the modular functionality based phone from Lenovo and the “more affordable” cousin of Moto Z and Moto Z Force is officially here. While it might not be as fast as the other two high-end phones, it comes with the same compatibility and should get the job done if you are not after high and competitive benchmark scores. To learn more about this phone including the Moto Z Play Dubai price and specs, keep reading.
Just like the other Moto Z smartphones: Moto Z and Moto Z Force, the Moto Z Play features a 5.5-inch screen. However, unlike the other two phones, this one shows only Full HD or 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 403ppi of pixel density. The phone comes with water repellent nano-coating which makes it slightly splash proof. It’s also quite thin at 7mm and weighs about 165g. There is a 16-pin connector on the back for MotoMods. For those who are willing to wait for the Moto Z Play release date UAE, there are two colors to look out for: black and white.
The Moto Z Play is packing a 16-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. This one is lacking Optical Image Stabilization which is included in the other Moto Z phones so expecting good low light performance won’t be a good idea. Other than that, it should be good enough if you are not planning to do some serious photography with this one. The 5-megapixel front camera comes with flash as well. For those who are looking for a good camera smartphone, there is the iPhone 7 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 7. However, these are quite expensive and not in the same pricing range as the Moto Z Play Dubai price.
This is where the Moto Z Play truly shines and gives other smartphones a run for its money. The smartphone is packing a big 3510mAh battery and it’s expected to easily last for a day even after heavy usage. The less power hungry Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM inside the phone is also one of the reason that the phone manage to give users a solid battery life. There are some great mods to choose from as well including a projector, a great speaker and the new 10x optical zoom included camera that can turn your phone into a true camera as well. Other than these, you get a fingerprint sensor, Type-C 1.0 connector and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system. If you are not eager to wait for the Moto Z Play release date UAE and just want a phone with great battery life, there is the Asus Zenfone Max you can check out.
As mentioned earlier, The Moto Z Play is cheaper than the other two Moto Z smartphones and will be available for about AED 1600 when it’s here. The Moto Z Play release date UAE is expected sometimes in September, 2016.
