6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED Display

At first glance, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus looks almost identical to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus. However, this year it gets the same armour aluminum frame like its more expensive brother that offers better drop and scratch resistance. The display is also slightly smaller this time, a 6.6-inch screen showing 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and comes with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 1750 nits peak brightness. The Plus version is not packing the S-Pen like the S22 Ultra so there is almost no major physical changes to look out for. Users get Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back side and IP68 is also there to offer dust and water resistance.

Triple Rear Camera Setup

One of the most noteworthy improvements of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus is its rear camera which now comes with a 50-megapixel 23mm wide sensor instead of the 12-megapixel 26mm wide one we had in its predecessor. However, the telephoto camera is now a 10-megapixel 70mm sensor and there is also the 12-megapixel 13mm ultrawide sensor. Though it’s an upgrade from what we usually get, it’s still not the same camera setup as the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. The front camera is a 10-megapixel 26mm wide sensor. For those of you who are in the market for a good camera phone, there is the iPhone 13 Pro and Google Pixel 6 Pro you can check out. 4500mAh Li-Ion Battery

Battery life is where most phones are not delivering these days and surprisingly, Samsung packed a 4500mAh Li-Ion battery inside which is smaller than its predecessor. It’s evident in the battery life as well though the different in screen time is not too drastic. The rest is as you would expect to see in a high-end Samsung phone, new Qualcomm and Exynos processor, Android 12, 8GB of RAM, fingerprint sensor (under display), Samsung DeX and Wireless DeX support, 45W fast charging support, 15W Fast Qi/PMA wireless charging support and 4.5W reverse wireless charging support.
