It’s that time of the year again for Sony to update its Xperia lineup and as usual we have already learned about the upcoming phones from leaks and rumors. One of the phones that will soon get a successor is the Sony Xperia XZ. It will be titled as the Sony Xperia XZ1. Continue reading to find out more about the phone including the Sony Xperia XZ1 Dubai price.
Sony has been following the same design for quite a while now for almost all of its phones and unfortunately it will be the same this year. While most of the big and popular smartphone makers are going for a bezel-less display, the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ1 will feature the same fat bezel and the same square shaped design. It will be IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass but we don’t know the specific version of it yet. It’s also surprising to see Full HD or 1080p display instead of 2K resolution. For those of you who are looking for phones with unique colors, this one will be available in four different colors right after the Sony Xperia XZ1 release date UAE: Deep Pink, Mineral Black, Forest Blue and Platinum.
Things are looking the same on paper, a 23-megapixel rear camera and a 13-megapixel camera on the front. This is another surprising thing to see as most of the phones are packing a dual camera nowadays. However, Sony is popular for offering great camera in its phones so it will be interesting to see how the phone competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or iPhone 7 Plus after the Sony Xperia XZ1 release date UAE. The front camera will be capable of capturing 2160p videos as well. For storing the captured contents, users will get two built-in storage options to choose from: 64GB and 128GB.
There is no surprise here when it comes to the processor. Like all the flagships that were recently released, the Sony Xperia XZ1 will be packing the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. We don’t know the exact size of the battery yet but users will be able to recharge it easily as it comes with Quick Charge 3.0 for super-fast charging. It will be better if the phone comes with a bigger battery considering the specs it’s packing. Other notable features include: fingerprint sensor, USB 3.1 port and NFC. There is the Asus Zenfone Max 3 and Lenovo Vibe p1 if it’s a phone with a bigger battery you are after. It’s a lot cheaper compared to the Sony Xperia XZ1 Dubai price and packs a giant 4130mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 will be available for around AED 2800 . From what we have learned so far, the Sony Xperia XZ1 release date UAE can be expected sometimes after September, 2017.
