The number of tablets that managed to impress us in 2016 is almost close to zero except for the big ones like the iPad Pro or Microsoft Surface Pro 4. There are some good budget and mid-range ones as well and one of them is the Huawei MediaPad M3. To find out more about this tablet including the Huawei MediaPad M3 Dubai price and specs, continue reading.
Right after the Huawei MediaPad M3 showed up, it was considered as a competitor to the iPad Mini 4 and it’s not too difficult to see why. The craftsmanship will definitely make you think that it’s a premium tablet with its stylish and sleek design, aerospace grade aluminum and uni-body shell. However, considering the Huawei MediaPad M3 and the price of an iPad Mini 4 it’s surprisingly good looking. At 7.3mm thickness, it’s quite thin and packs an 8.4-inch screen which is another reason for comparing it with the small iPad. The viewing angles are quite good and 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution is also a good feature to see in a small, mid-range tablet.
Tablets are not usually something we pick for capturing pictures but this one won’t disappoint you if you decide to depend on its camera. Both the front and rear camera is an 8-megapixel one which means users will be able to take some great selfies. The rear camera is capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30fps as well which is another good feature for a tablet with QHD resolution. Tablets usually don’t include a pair of headphones and there is a surprise here as well. The tablet comes with AKG H300 headphones and Huawei teamed up with Harman Kardon for designing the stereo speakers. There are two speakers placed at the top and the bottom of the tablet. Most of the tablets either include one speaker or two speakers are placed at the same place and it can get covered easily. There is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Lenovo Tab 3 8 if you are interested to check out some more tablets in this pricing range.
Unlike many mid-range tablets, the Huawei MediaPad M3 is not just all beauty with no performance. The tablet is packing a decent HiSilicon Kirin 950 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It will get the job done smoothly when performing basic tasks but might take a little more time to load when playing really heavy games. This processor comes paired with 4GB of RAM and optional 32/64GB built-in storage which can be expanded using the microSD card slot. It won’t be too difficult for users to get through a day after a full charge with this tablet if they are not heavy users thanks to the 5100mAh battery inside. Other notable features include: fingerprint sensor and LTE Cat4 network support.
The Huawei MediaPad M3 is available in the market for about AED 1300 .
