Attractive Round Shaped Design

The Nest Thermostat E is less expensive compared to its brother for a reason and it reflects on the design. It doesn’t look bad and comes with the similar spin dial but the thermostat is actually made out of a plastic-like material: polycarbonate. It’s stronger than the usual plastic we see but it’s still not metal which is one of the reasons the price tag is more affordable. While the Nest Learning Thermostat looked more like an object that you wouldn’t mind hanging in your living room, the Nest Thermostat E is designed in a way which can easily blend in with wall thanks to its frosted display. There is a 1.76-inch display showing 320 x 320 resolution.

Remote Access Via Different Apps

It’s easy to get remote access to this smart thermostat thanks to the Nest web or mobile apps. Moreover, you can also adjust the thermostat using Google Home or Amazon Alexa. These are also in the same price range as the Nest Thermostat E Dubai price but it can help you get the most out of this smart thermostat. One of the down side of this thermostat compared to its sibling is that this one supports lesser number of heating and cooling systems. Scheduling

Cheaper doesn’t always mean less features which is partially true for the Nest Thermostat E. If you were thinking this smart thermostat won’t be able to learn by itself just because it doesn’t include “learning” in its title, that’s not true. Users get two option for scheduling this thermostat: typical customer’s habits presets or depending on the learning algorithm that will adapt itself over time. It comes with almost all the same sensors that can detect your presence: humidity, temperature, ambient light and occupancy sensors. However, it doesn’t include “Farsight” sensors which can detect when someone passes by and light up its display using far-field sensor. If you are ready to accept the absence of this feature, all the other features are there.

As mentioned earlier, the Nest Thermostat E is surprisingly affordable compared to the Nest Learning Thermostat and it’s available for about AED 600 .
