Apple Store Return & Warranty Policies

Are returns permitted? What are the conditions and time limit?

To return an undamaged product purchased at the Apple Store, please contact 8000 444 0396 between 10:00 and 19:00 Sunday to Thursday within 14 days from the date you receive the product. Once Apple receives your returned product, they’ll exchange it or offer a refund based on the original payment method. Products can be returned only in the country in which they were originally purchased. Opened software cannot be returned if it contained a seal with the software license on the outside of the package and you could read the software license before opening its packaging.


Will I be refunded or given a store credit to buy something else from Apple Store?

Once Apple receives your returned product, Apple will exchange it or offer a refund based on the original payment method.


If I return the item, who pays for shipping the item back? Are there any other fees I need to pay to return the item?


How long will it take for me to get my refund from Apple Store?

Once your goods are back at Apple's warehouse, your refund will be processed. Please allow 5-7 days for the refund to reach your account. Depending on your payment method, it can take up to 7 working days for the refund to appear in your account once it has been processed by Apple.

What malfunctions or product problems do Apple Store warranties cover?

Apple warrants the Apple-branded hardware product and Apple-branded accessories contained in the original packaging ("Apple Product") against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Apple's published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period").This includes but not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications.


If there is something wrong in the product which is under warrantee, how long will it take Apple Store to pick it up, fix it and deliver it back?

(i) Carry-in service. You may return your Apple Product to an Apple Retail or AASP location offering carry-in service. (ii) Mail-in service. Depending on eligibility, Apple will send you prepaid waybills and if applicable, packaging material and instructions on how to properly pack and address your Apple product, so that you may ship your Apple Product to an ARS or AASP location. (iii) Do-it-yourself (DIY) parts service. DIY parts service allows you to service your own Apple Product.


Who pays for shipping back and re-delivering the item?

Apple will send you prepaid waybills and if applicable, packaging material and instructions on how to properly pack and address your Apple product. Apple will pay for shipping to and from your location if all instructions regarding the method of packaging and shipping the Apple Product are followed. Service where For DIY parts service, Apple may require a credit card authorization as security for the retail price of the replacement product or part and applicable shipping costs.


Can I return a product that has a malfunction and get my money back?

If you're having trouble with your new Apple product or believe it is defective, please call Apple Care immediately to report your defective product.


If an item I ordered turned out to be malfunctioning and Apple Store doesn’t have any other in stock to replace it, what happens then?
