Nikon D3300

I've been switching around from camera to camera for a while now, trying to decide which is the best choice for my needs. After enjoying using the Canon EOS Mark III for some time, I did some research on the Nikon D3300 and decided to give it a shot. After some light use, it was clear the lenses have sharper capturing and better detail compared to the Canon EOS mark III’s.  Being an avid action photographer, after taking hundreds of pictures of my family and all the events we have on vacation, it was obvious that the Nikon D3300 would fit my needs perfectly.

New Features

The Nikon D3300 is smaller and lighter compared to the D3200 and D3100. Most people enjoy this smaller cameras because it is the perfect size to hold comfortably in your hand. Your hand won't become sweaty or shaky trying to steady a large, over-sized camera; it doesn't have to be large to be high quality. Sometimes better things come in smaller packages.

One of the largest changes that has been made with the Nikon D3300 is the “VRIii” 15-55mm lens. These lenses are smaller and lighter than previous Nikon models and the lenses collapse to about 2/3 its size when they are not being used.

Video

The D3300 video does not have any of the common issues most cameras have when it comes to zooming in while recording and the camera either gets blurry or becomes slow. The video with this model also has very good low light performance.  If you are a parent that loves recording their kids doing what they love whether it is sports or hobbies, this camera is great. It's so emotional capturing memories of your children and other family members enjoying activities that you used to love doing as a child. When they're older, they will be able to relive those memories with you thanks to the high quality and crisp photos captured by the Nikon D3300.

The Bottom line

The Nikon D3300 is an overall wonderful camera. The color, quality of the photos, and lenses are truly what makes the camera. This camera is a little pricey but is worth the money if you enjoy capturing and recording every moment so you can look back in the future with you loved ones and relive the memories. All complaints that you could have had with previous Nikon cameras have been fixed.
