Huawei Honor 3C
Although many smartphones are available worldwide for everyone to revel in, India is beginning to have its own smartphone ecosystem which is booming. There are so many winners in this bunch of exclusive Middle East models that you would think they’d be available worldwide. The Huawei Honor 3C, one of the phones that has been available in India for some time now, has recently expanded to a slightly wider customer base. Thankfully even with the limited availability of the Huawei Honor 3C, Dubai is one of the few countries that can purchase this high quality smartphone. Although it’s not the most recent technological release, it does have some unique and interesting qualities that are sure to peak your interest.
Hardware
The simple yet elegant looking device does not necessarily stand out design-wise as it does look vaguely similar to every other rectangular smartphone on the market. What does stand out though is the noticeable structural integrity and solid feel in your hand. The 5” 720p display is lined with three capacitive buttons as well as a masterfully placed earpiece grille and front facing camera. On the upper right side of the device is the power button with the volume rocker underneath it, with both buttons having a beautiful matte metal finish.
The Honor 3C may not be run off the most updated operating system but that may be because the phone was released before the last update. It is run off of the highly qualified Android 4.2.2 based Emotion UI 2.0 which is right up there with Kitkat 4.4.4. The interface is quite impressive and offers many features by using a hybrid interface somewhere between iOS and Android. There is a fun theme selection that allows you to personalize the phone however you wish. They offer pre-designed themes as well as a fully customizable option which turns a simple, boring home screen into a fun and entertaining appearance.
There are many more customizable features which is surprising to most in such an affordable device. The color temperature can be adjusted based on your preference as well as having the ability to block off apps from accessing mobile data or Wi-Fi. Furthermore, you can deny specific apps from running automatically when the phone is in use which conserves a substantial amount of battery life.
The Huawei Honor 3C is run off of a 2300 mAh battery which can last for 2-3 days on standby. Powered by a 1.3 Ghz quad core MediaTek MT682 processor as well as 2 GB of Ram, it performs very well for Android games including intensive graphic games. It doesn’t freeze, lag, or overheat during heavy use which makes multi-tasking a breeze. The 8 Megapixel rear facing camera has an f/2.0 lens which performs well in low-light with minimum noise and blur thanks to its Sony sensor.
The Bottom Line
If you’re in the market for a mid-range smartphone that performs as well as a high-end phone, the Huawei Honor 3C Dubai price will fit your budget perfectly. It features some of the same features and specs as a high end phone but at an affordable price for most anyone. Long lasting battery, updated OS, and plenty of customizable features, everyone will love the Huawei Honor 3C.
