What is Pricena?

Pricena, pronounced Price-na and meaning Our Price in Arabic-English, is a price comparison site that allows you to compare prices of a product from different stores in the UAE and in Egypt. Instead of you having to visit every online store to compare prices, we collect all this information for you and put it in one place: pricena.com.

How does Pricena collect prices from all stores?

Much like Google crawls the web, Pricena crawls the websites of online stores (such as Souq or Namshi) every day and fetches product prices. Monkeys hard at work at Pricena’s HQ ensure that identical products from different stores are grouped together for you to easily compare prices. Okay we don’t really employ monkeys but we do have smart people working to put everything in order, just for you.

Does Pricena sell products?

No we don’t sell products. We simply collect prices and if you decide to purchase a product we redirect you to the store’s website where you can make the purchase there.

How do I use Pricena?

Easy. Search for a product on Pricena (here’s the Galaxy s5 as an example) then simply click on the store you would like to purchase the product from. We’ll redirect you to the store’s page and you can place your order there.

There are so many stores, how do I choose which one to buy from?

Other than the price, consider a couple of things:

1. Delivery cost. We show you the delivery cost for each store to help you make your decision.

2. Delivery speed. Some stores deliver the same day, others take a week.

Are the stores on Pricena selling authentic, original products?

Yes, all stores on Pricena sell authentic and original products.

How does Pricena track historical prices?

We keep daily records of prices of all the products from partner stores. Look for the arrow icon and click it to see the price trend. We know exactly when a product price has dropped, and if you want us to keep you in the loop, you can sign up to one of our price drop email alerts. Look for the bell icon on any product page.
